Landfall
A freight planner at night facing a wall display of shipping routes glowing across a dark world map

Built With AI

AI where it changes the outcome.

We use it in two places that matter to a retailer: getting the order to the shelf on the promised date, and answering the shopper standing in front of it.

01

Freight times we can predict

Every incoming shipment is analysed as it moves.

The model predicts freight times from the data we already hold: where each container is on its route, how long that shipping lane has actually taken, and how long goods wait at the destination port before they leave the terminal.

When a shipment starts to run late, it shows up as a schedule problem while there is still time to work around it, instead of on the day the goods were due.

What you get

  • A delivery date you can build a promotion or a reset around
  • Early warning when a container is running late
  • Time to move a delivery, split an order or change the plan

02

A code on every pack

Product packaging carries a scannable code.

A shopper points a phone camera at the box and lands on that exact product, with no app to install and no manual to keep: how it works, how to look after it, and what goes with it.

The code is designed into the packaging artwork along with the rest of the box, so the information stays with the product long after the carton is thrown away.

What you get

  • Product information that does not depend on a printed insert
  • The same code works in the store and at home
  • Nothing for the shopper to download or sign up for

03

An assistant for each brand

Behind the scan sits an AI assistant for that brand.

The shopper can ask how the product works, what fits it, or what to do when something goes wrong, and get an answer on the spot.

Each assistant knows its own brand's range and answers in that brand's voice, so the brand still sounds like itself after the sale.

What you get

  • Fewer support questions reaching a queue
  • Answers at the moment a shopper needs them
  • One assistant per brand, never a generic chatbot

Questions

What buyers actually ask.

How does Landfall use AI on freight?
The freight model reads carrier milestones, lane history and per-port dwell so an order can be promised against a date the chain can actually hit. There is no published accuracy figure, because one does not exist yet.
What is the code on the pack?
A scannable code on the pack opens a brand assistant for that product: the story, the care, the rest of the range. It is the brand talking after the sale, not a generic chatbot.
Is the AI a separate product?
No. It is how the program is run and how the pack keeps talking. You buy a product program; the AI sits inside that program.
